AVAYA Field Engineer


Location: Field Based, Working in and around London & the South East.

Sabre supplies, installs & supports the very latest AVAYA IP Office and Aura unified communications products as well as the legacy Avaya portfolio. Our customers not only include Enterprise Companies but also SME's and the public sector organisations. Due to continued success and business expansion, there is now a requirement for an experienced Avaya IP Office & ACM/Aura field engineer to join our operations and Engineering team.

 

In this key position you will provide onsite and remote technical support, maintenance support, onsite installations, on-call rota support when required and provide the highest level of customer service at all times. This is a field engineering role with regular visits to our Brighton based HQ (split approximately 20% Office based / 80% Field Based, but can vary depending on business needs). Ideal living in the following locations London, RH, BN or TN postcodes areas. You must be willing to travel on a daily basis this may involve UK wide travel as and when business needs arise.

 

For this role it is essential the successful candidate has experience in the following areas:

 

  • Installation and maintenance experience on the AVAYA IP Office, Definity, ACM and Aura platform.
  • CW1308 and Structured Cabling infrastructure
  • Analogue, Digital and IP Telephony
  • Working with the following protocols ISDN, VOIP, Q931, DASS II, SIP etc
  • LAN / WAN networks Including Layer 2/3 fundamentals
  • Applications including Tri-line (TIM), Oak, Call / Contact centre, Remote VPN workers, Verint 360
  • Working with medium to large end customers 30 extensions to 1000+
  • AVAYA Qualifications desirable but not essential
